React Native Mobile App Developer. Own it end-to-end.

About the Role

We are looking for talented React Native Mobile App Developers to lead cross-platform mobile engineering for iOS and Android. You will architect, develop, test, and optimize high-performance applications, integrate backend APIs, and manage releases on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Experienced developers are strongly preferred to help establish and gradually lead ProspectBD's mobile engineering division. Promising interns and junior developers with demonstrable projects and strong fundamentals are also encouraged to apply. Remote candidates responsible for iOS builds and testing must possess a MacBook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own cross-platform mobile application development from initial architecture to production deployment
• Architect, develop, test, and optimize responsive Android and iOS applications using React Native and TypeScript
• Integrate RESTful APIs, authentication flows, push notifications, and third-party services
• Ensure mobile application reliability, responsiveness, memory optimization, security, and maintainability
• Manage app testing, debugging, native profiling, and release workflows across Google Play Store and Apple App Store
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver polished user experiences
• Establish coding standards, documentation, and continuous build practices to lead ProspectBD's mobile engineering department

Requirements

• Strong practical experience developing and shipping mobile applications with React Native
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, asynchronous programming, and REST API integration
• Proven understanding of mobile architecture, state management (e.g., Zustand, Redux, or Context), and debugging
• Hands-on familiarity with Git, Android builds (Gradle), and iOS deployment processes (Xcode, TestFlight, App Store Connect)
• Ability to independently manage technical delivery, debug device-specific issues, and meet milestones
• A portfolio or published mobile applications (Play Store, App Store, APKs, or public GitHub repositories) demonstrating hands-on expertise
• For remote candidates responsible for iOS builds, testing, and delivery: a MacBook is mandatory

Nice to Have

• Experience with native bridge integration, Swift/Kotlin native modules, or Expo EAS workflows
• Experience setting up CI/CD automation for mobile testing and distribution (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to offline-first architectures, SQLite/WatermelonDB, or real-time WebSockets
• Promising interns or junior developers with strong practical project portfolios are warmly encouraged to apply
